1. General Provisions

Welcome to Capytime (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). This Terms of Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is an agreement between you and the Capytime development team regarding the use of the App's services. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App's services.

2. Account Registration and Management

2.1 You need to register an account to use the App's services. You should ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of registration information.

2.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password. Any losses caused by improper safeguarding are your own responsibility.

2.3 You may not transfer, sell, or lend your account to others.

3. Service Content

3.1 Time Capsule Service: The App provides timelock encryption services based on drand distributed randomness beacon. You can create time capsules containing text, images, videos, and other content, and set an unlock time.

3.2 Technical Note: Timelock encryption is based on cryptographic technology. Before your set unlock time arrives, no one (including us) can decrypt the capsule content. This is a mathematical guarantee, not a promise.

3.3 VIP Service: VIP members enjoy advanced features such as more attachments, exclusive backgrounds, location unlock, and time windows.

4. Subscription Terms (Auto-Renewal)

4.1 Subscription Options:

• VIP Monthly: Monthly subscription, billing cycle is 1 month
• VIP Yearly: Annual subscription, billing cycle is 1 year

4.2 Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

4.3 Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.4 Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.5 Manage Subscription: You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.

4.6 Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription after the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

4.7 Cancellation: After canceling your subscription, you can continue to use VIP features until the end of the current subscription period, but no future charges will be made.

5. User Conduct

When using the App, you must not:

• Upload or publish content that violates laws and regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights
• Publish pornographic, violent, terrorist, or other harmful information
• Use the App for any illegal activities
• Interfere with the normal operation of the App

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All content of the App, including but not limited to text, images, audio, video, software, programs, interface design, and layout framework, belongs to the Capytime development team.

6.2 You retain the intellectual property rights to content you upload to the App.

7. Privacy Protection

We value your privacy protection. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimer

8.1 Due to the nature of timelock encryption, once a capsule is encrypted, it cannot be decrypted by anyone before the unlock time arrives. Please confirm the content is correct before creating a capsule.

8.2 We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure, network failures, third-party service interruptions, etc.

8.3 The drand network is maintained by multiple organizations worldwide. We are not responsible for the availability of the drand network but will do our best to ensure service stability.

9. Agreement Modification

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement as needed. The modified Agreement will be published in the App. If you continue to use the App, it will be deemed that you agree to the modified Agreement.
